The logo for "Every Library RI" features a cozy blue couch with side tables on each side, symbolizing a welcoming space for reading and discussion. Shelves filled with books are incorporated into the design, representing the core mission of promoting access to literature. The logo emphasizes the importance of protecting freedom of information and raising awareness about banned books, reinforcing the idea that libraries should be inclusive spaces for all voices and ideas. Its warm and inviting feel contrasts with the serious message of standing against censorship.
The EveryLibraryRI campaign team made up of students from Roger Williams University within PRSSA hosted the event "Storytime Celebration: Your Library. Your Living Room. Your Language." The campaign aimed to empower underrepresented communities through the transformative power of storytelling, emphasizing the role of libraries as inclusive spaces where everyone has access to books and resources they might otherwise lack. The event featured readings by Providence Mayor Brett Smiley and Carina Pinto de Chacon, a representative from Providence Public Schools, as well as readings in Spanish, Portuguese, and American Sign Language.
